What does therapy with me look like?
My therapy practice is centered around psychodynamic, humanistic and mindfulness therapy techniques.
Psychodynamic Therapy
Psychodynamic is a perspective that helps me focus on past experiences, childhood traumas and the roots of emotional struggles. It requires self-reflection and self-examination and provides valuable insight into how you may reinforce unhealthy or detrimental patterns in your life.
Humanistic Therapy
The humanistic aspect of my approach emphasizes helping you feel empowered to make the right choices for you, to find meaning in your life, develop your identity, and grow your sense of self.
Mindfulness Therapy
Lastly, I view mindfulness as an incredible tool for learning how to become present and more in touch with your senses. We can practice mindfulness in our sessions and I can give you tools to practice it on your own.
Ultimately, my goal is for us to work together to foster a safe and productive environment for growth.
