Hi, my name is Jamie Rudden. I am a registered AMFT #145124 under the supervision of Melina Alden, LMFT.
In my experience, people often seek change when they are not fully aligned with the person they want to be. Our work together will be to identify these misalignments, to learn how to empathize with how they came to be, and to find strategies for letting go of things that no longer serve in order to find a sense of self we can feel proud of. I approach my work with genuine care and a sense of curiosity, guiding us as we uncover the layers beneath the surface to recognize patterns that may be holding you back.
I aim for clients to not just talk about change, but to experience it in the therapy room. Emphasizing the mind-body connection, I provide a safe space to explore what's keeping you stuck. Within the depths of your psyche lie the keys to healing, and together, we navigate through old narratives, discovering the essence of what truly matters to you. My therapeutic approach is characterized by warmth, collaboration, and a relational style infused with a touch of humor.
I received my masters in marriage and family therapy from USF in Tampa, FL. I specialize in working with couples, new parents, queer relationships, and teens. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy for Individuals (or EFIT), and Treating Complex Trauma with Internal Family Systems.
